Art of Steel is a very small company, consisting of only 1 employee - Jack (although my wife, Elise is a huge support.) The company is currently operating out of our basement apartment in Draper, UT. Art of Steel was created and is continually operated with the goal of bringing out the child in people with artwork that makes them happy.
Art of Steel began in my junior year of high school with a pair of tin snips and a spray-paint can. Most of my early designs involved cutting out hand-drawn masking tape stencils with an x-acto knife, and gluing metal pieces together with JB Weld. Those products were made as birthday and Christmas gifts for friends, but didn't quite reach past immediate friends and family.
I went to college and majored in mechanical engineering where I learned how to combine my artistic talent with technology. In the summer of 2016, my wife and I made the decision to make a couple of laser engraving machines part of our family. I have a small tool shed where I paint most of the products, and, thanks to our customers, have recently moved the rest of Art of Steel's operations base out of the bedroom (much to my wife's delight) and into a larger shed.
As such a small operation, I hope to be able to offer each customer a great experience with excellent customer service. If you have any questions or custom order requests, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I am grateful for any feedback that I can get so that I can know how to improve my products and the buying experience. I am always happy to hear how well my products do at meeting our goal of making people happy.
