Based on the cover art from the iconic comic book Batman: A Death in the Family, this painting shows on of the most emotional moments in all of the Bat Family. Batman (Bruce Wayne) holds Robin (Jason Todd) moments after Robin’s death at the hands of the Joker. This moment affects the Dark Knight more than any of his other experiences other than the death of his own parents. It is also a pivotal moment in the creation of another very important DC comics character: Red Hood.
